Our self-contained apartment is set within part of a converted railway goods shed. It has full central heating and is available for holiday rental on a weekly or short break basis.
The Goodshed is situated in a lovely rural setting within its own beautiful grounds of one acre. An abundance of wildlife visits the garden, and if you are lucky you may see the barn owl who often perches under our bridge or can be seen hunting over the nearby fields.
The Goodshed is also home to the owners Miriam and Graham, and they are very happy to share their idyllic garden with their guests. The apartment also has its own outdoor seating area.
If you enjoy cycling or walking, you will be spoilt for choice with the quiet country lanes and footpaths of the Nar valley.
For railway enthusiasts there is a choice of Norfolk's heritage railways within easy reach.
Situated close to the market town of Swaffham, there are many pubs and restaurants to choose from for dining out. The Goodshed is centrally situated for visiting Norwich, the North Norfolk Coast, and many National Trust Properties.
The popular T.V. series Kingdom starring Stephen Fry was filmed in Swaffham, and the area is now proudly known as 'Kingdom Country'.
